02Day 2
Up the mountain: Shixin Peak, Xihai Grand Canyon and Guangming Peak
Take the Yungu cable car up, walk from Shixin Peak and Beihai to Paiyun Pavilion, go deeper into the Xihai Grand Canyon if energy allows, and reach Flying Stone and Guangming Peak in the evening.

  After breakfast, take the scenic shuttle from the Zhaixi transfer centre in Tangkou, then the Yungu cable car up to Bai'eling in about ten minutes.

  Shixin Peak and Beihai
  Walk Shixin Peak and the Beihai area for classical pines and rock formations such as Black Tiger Pine, Intertwined Pines, Dreaming Brush Bloom and Monkey Watching the Sea.

  Afternoon
  Paiyun Pavilion and Xihai Grand Canyon
  In the afternoon, reach Paiyun Pavilion for the Xihai Grand Canyon; go deeper and take the funicular (an optional add-on) back toward Tianhai if time and energy allow.

  Evening
  Flying Stone and Guangming Peak
  Toward evening, continue to Flying Stone and Guangming Peak and wait for cloud seas and sunset if the weather allows. After dinner, rest early for the next sunrise.

03Day 3
Sunrise, the descent, then Hongcun
Watch the sunrise, descend the front-mountain route past the Guest-Greeting Pine, collect luggage in Tangkou at midday, visit Hongcun in the afternoon, then transfer to your train or flight.

  Watch the sunrise from a viewpoint if the weather allows. After breakfast, pack and follow the front-mountain route past Aoyu Peak, Aoyu Cave and the Hundred-Step Ladder, view Lotus Peak from a distance (opening is subject to scenic-area notices), and reach Yuping Tower for the Guest-Greeting Pine.

  Yuping cable car down to Tangkou
  Take the Yuping cable car down to Ciguang Pavilion, transfer back to the Tangkou centre and collect your luggage.

  Afternoon
  Hongcun
  In the afternoon, visit Hongcun: South Lake, Moon Pond, stone lanes and Hui houses, for white walls, dark tiles and their reflections in the water.
4. 04
  Departure
  Transfer to your train or flight
  After the visit, transfer to the station or airport according to your departure. If your train or flight is early, shorten the Hongcun stop and agree the change with your advisor.
